About Me
Welcome to my teaching portfolio! My name is Lawren Murray, and I am a Guyanese-born teacher currently teaching physics in Jamaica. My passion for teaching was ignited while I was a tutor in my church's after-school program. Witnessing the joy on my students' faces as they grasped new concepts provided me with a deep sense of fulfillment and ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in teaching. As a teacher, I am guided by a constructivist worldview. My core values include teaching for conceptual understanding and promoting active learning.
